York Barbell 5' Black Oxide Olympic Bar 28 mm

The York Barbell 5' Black Oxide Olympic Bar 28 mm is finished with a black oxide coating and features hard chrome sleeves. The black oxide finish has an aggressive grip and the steel used to make the bar is made in the USA. It features a minimum tensile strength of 100,000 PSI.

This bar has less flex and greater rigidity, making it ideal for static, controlled movements like squats, bench presses and deadlifts. It also works well for Olympic lift training. The sleeves are secured on the bar using a bar end nut and spring pin. They are machined to a precise 1.975" diameter to fit 2" Olympic plates.
