York Barbell 5' International Black Oxide Olympic Bar

The York Barbell 5' International Black Oxide Olympic Bar is a strikingly attractive weight bar that is finished with a black oxide coating and features hard chrome sleeves. The black oxide finish has an aggressive grip and the the steel used to make the bar is made in the USA. It also boasts a minimum tensile strength of 100,000 PSI.

This bar has less flexibility, more rigidity, and is great for use when performing static, highly controlled, slow movements such as the squat, bench press, and deadlift. It also works very well for Olympic lift training. The sleeves are secured on the bar using a bar end nut and spring pin. They are machined to a precise 1.975" diameter to accommodate 2" Olympic plates.
