York Barbell 6' International Black Oxide Olympic Bar

The York Barbell 6' International Black Oxide Olympic Bar is finished with a black oxide coating and features hard chrome sleeves, making it strikingly attractive. The black oxide finish has an aggressive grip and the steel used in the making of the bar is made in the USA. This bar also has a minimum tensile strength of 100,000 PSI.

It has less flexibility, more rigidity, and is ideal for static, highly controlled, slow movements such as squats, bench presses, and deadlifts. It's also an excellent weight bar for Olympic lift training. The sleeves are secured on the bar using a bar end nut and spring pin, and are machined to a precise 1.975" diameter to accommodate 2" Olympic plates.
