York Barbell Broad Street Bar

The York Barbell Broad Street Bar has a minimum tensile strength of 185,000 PSI after heat treating and is made with North American steel. It is less flexible, more rigid, and excellent for use when performing static, highly controlled, slow movements such as the squat, bench press, and deadlift. It is also an excellent weight bar for Olympic lift training. The sleeves are secured on the bar using a bar end nut and spring pin. Sleeves are machined to a precise 1.975" diameter to accommodate 2" Olympic plates.

Maintenance:

This bare steel bar requires regular care to maintain optimal performance. Over time, the bar will develop a patina, a natural brown coloration due to aging. Avoid storing the bar in humid environments and wipe it down after each use.

Cleaning Instructions:

• Brush the bar with a nylon bristle brush to remove debris.
• Apply 3-in-1 oil in streaks along the knurling, using extra oil if rust is present.
• Use the nylon brush to evenly spread the oil and address any rust spots.
• Wipe off excess oil with a clean cloth.
• Set a new PR with your cleaned bar!
